Dr. Kerem Gunes
Dr Kerem Güneş, who specialises in Iranian foreign policy, proxy actors and regional security strategies, has particular expertise in US–Iran relations, nuclear negotiations and Israeli–Iranian rivalry. His work analyses Iran's influence policies in the Middle East, the strategies it pursues through proxy powers, and the impact of these policies on the regional security architecture.
Dr Güneş's publications focus on Iran's doctrine of ‘resistance and flexibility,’ the effects of sanctions on domestic politics and the economy, and the limits of proxy warfare strategy. His work provides a reliable reference point for both academia and policymakers.
